Twisted wire in your underground dog fence system gives your dog an area free from correction. If your dog goes near the boundary, first he will hear a warning tone. If he continues toward the boundary, your dog will receive a mild correction. There are instances, however, when you want your dog to cross the boundary without receiving a correction. At these points of entry, you will have to twist the wire to cancel the signal. The pre-twisted wire allows your pet to go through the wire without receiving the correction. The pre-twisted wire saves you the time and effort of twisting your own wire.
